Favorite Hunting Clothing Brand (where you like the camo pattern)

I’ve killed plenty of deer in Walmart camo. Spend your money where you think it matters most but a camo pattern I’ll save my money. Grandpa killed many elk, mule deer and whitetail wearing tan pants and red/black flannel shirts back in the day before Sitka.

    Multi pin vs one pin

I went from a 3 pin to a Tommy hog single pin and my accuracy seemed to improve. Maybe it’s all mental but I group better now. I just set it at 27 yards and it works for my Ohio woods hunting distances. Couldn’t be happier

    2tc vs one sticking

I’m not an expert on any climbing method that’s why I have multiple. If not going in far I’ll take my summit viper and be comfortable, I one stick most of the time but sometimes I hunt from the ground. To each their own is the way I see it. Being 55 years old I’ll do whatever I feel like and not...

    Access to Quality Whitetail Habitat

I think your post is great. My family has a thousand acre farm in Missouri with pond and a creek running through it. It’s a corn and soybean farm and has tons of deer. The only negative is that we only have small patches of hardwoods , kinda like islands or patches of standing timber and timber...

    Rappelling kits

This is why I want to start rappelling. I’m sick of carrying and using sticks. Each stick can be a weak point in the climbing method. My 3 step aider from Hang Free just arrived and I attached it to my platform and it works great. I only climbed to the platform and haven’t moved it yet so I...

    Rappelling kits

Hello all, been saddle hunting for a few years now and want to make it easier by rappelling down. I’ve searched and googled different kits and I’m unsure what the best rope would be? I would like a mechanical device like a mad rock safeguard or is there something better? Seems like most kits are...

    Truck build

The last of the many Jeeps I’ve built, also built a couple rock crawlers that were barely street legal when I lived in Colorado. Now I drive a Subaru and my deer still fit in the back.

Saddle hunting in the snow....how to keep your bow out of the snow???

Can always try something like this. Once up in the tree it will fit in your pack and put in on before coming back down

help me find a hunting boot with 1,000 or more grams of thinsulate or other insulation (don't want pac boots with the felt bootie/et) ($300 budget)

Not sure if you like this style but I call them muck boots. I have these and love them. Plenty warm with the correct socks and feet stay dry after crossing wetlands and creeks. Might find a better price somewhere else

What did you do today that’s related to saddle hunting?

Saw my saddle in the back of my suv and thought I should be up in a tree and not at work.

    Saddle spreader bar?

Here is one but it seems kinda pricey at 40 plus bucks.

I’d be all over it if they offered them in camo
