Anyone know how to make adjustable web bridge without sewing?

Update on my adjustable synthetic bridge. See picture below, we'll see how long the orange color lasts (hopefully 2-3 seasons).

    Super Munter to Descend?

I've adopted most if not all of JRB's SRT and DSRT systems and methods, hitches, ascenders and yes even the humble munter hitch for the rappel down. On days when I got soaking wet from being stubborn and deciding to wait out the rain, I found that I; (SRT) needed to add an extra turn around...

Anyone know how to make adjustable web bridge without sewing?

I added a synthetic rope for my adjustable main(top) bridge and kept my sewn ESS bridge for my secondary/belay/rappel/backup. I bought this rope from Amazon and already installed it on my bridge to try out for the next season or so. I have used this one(see below) for the last 21 months with...

Descenders - Help me choose please.

I've never used either and most likely will never as my simple approach works every time. I climb/ascend with the saddle, 3 carabiners, and an agile hitch on my climbing rope. 1 Locking Carabiner connects my primary bridge to agile friction hitch on my climbing rope. 2 non-locking carabiners...

    Ropeman Safety

Both my ropeman 1 and kong duck are collecting dust in the shed. I now only use 6mm trc friction hitches(jrb agile hitch) and the garda hitch footloop on my 8mm sterling oplux. Check out https://jrbtreeclimbing.com/

    2 panel comfort?

I have been using the ESS and it is quite comfortable, to me that is. I have no other comparisons as I have only this one. I've had all-day sits in it and it is just as comfortable as sitting on a lawn chair(rig yourself a back-support and the comfort level exponentially increases). See the...

    No-sew strap doodad keeper

I use recycled tire inner tubes to create 1/2" inch strips. Double it over the main strap and make it one-finger tight. Roll up the free-running end and slip the rubber strip over the roll and you're good to go. I'd stay away from Velcro because of the noise.

    Sewn Eye~Oplux 8mm

Load tested my diy stitched eye yesterday. Basically ran the free-running end into the quicklink, hooked up like normal for hunting, and then executed some controlled falls( jumping up off the ground and letting my 200+ pounds snatch and jerk on the eye). I was pleasantly surprised, the...

    Sewn Eye~Oplux 8mm

Brocky, Thank you for sharing the article. I did 'seize' the eye and the tail end to prevent splitting/widening and I think that my safety factor (double everything) should hold. Then again, I am merely a novice and only know that I don't know nearly enough at this time. Only field testing and...

    Sewn Eye~Oplux 8mm

The threads "zippering' is a concern for sure and I made sure to double the minimum required for the expected load(s) on the line/eye. Brocky included a great article and I will definitely use the information for future reference. I basically used what I had around the house and I hope that my...
