    Best Saddle Hunting Pant

Hey guys, I decided to make a video going over the pants I wear while hunting from a saddle, and also when hunting from the ground. I hope this video is informal for some of you looking for a little overview on some great pants!

Up in one with just a??

Hey guys, had a couple questions from a previous post regarding the lightest and most efficient way I carried my system. Figured I would make another video just to show a little but how I did it. Feel free to ask questions. I did remember a couple others things I did as well since making the...

    Packing sticks for saddle hunting.

I can make a video on this and how I go up in one. This is just an extra linesman’s rope, two tent bungees, and a short bungee.

    Up in one?

I made a post about a week ago about the backpack system I use for my sticks and platform. This is a quick video showing how I make it up the tree in one trip, once winter ends here in Wisconsin I will make another video actually going up a tree. Figured this should answer some more questions...

    Packing sticks for saddle hunting.

I used a extra linesman’s rope and some bungees last year for my 3 hawk helium’s and my platform. Worked well and made it up the tree in one. Lines rope was used to hold the whole system together and and then also held onto the platform at the end.

    The Ultimate Saddle Hunting Backpack!!

I see this question come up a ton here. I’ve recommended this backpack to a ton of people and I figured I would show everyone how I set mine up!

    Kuiu or Sitka

I would agree with the first lite sanctuary. I’ve owned almost all the Sitka pieces and only have a couple left. I’ve worn the Sanctuary in 40 degrees with nothing under it but base layers and just went out yesterday in -5 with a couple layers and was plenty cozy. They make amazing pieces. Warm...

I don’t own one but I would guess. It’s a beast of a pack. Carried out a fully quartered deer in Missouri.

    Pack for Carrying Predator

I found my best backpack so far on Amazon. Military style backpack with plenty of room and buckles for sticks and platform. Only one bungee and got up the tree in one since I got the pack. Can fit all of my gear in it is well. Amazing $25 purchase

    Best pants for saddle hunting

I would recommend the Sitka Timberlines. I’ve worn tons of brands of pants over the years and these are damn near perfect. Waterproof butt and knees, and insertable knee pads. Yes there expensive but well worth the money if your looking to buy one pair of pants to last the rest of your life...

    Anyone use a fanny pack?

Amazon had a couple cool “military” style Fanny packs I almost purchased for early season. Just enough to carry your ropes, ect. At only $20. Could come in handy for light weight early season sits.

    Lone Wolf Custom Gear

When I found out about all of this a couples weeks ago I was so excited. I waited all day today to see all the findings on the website. Honestly, all my hype when I opened it went away when I saw the prices. I understand the demand and quality, but these prices are steep. I mean a platform for...

Getting your gear up the tree

I do kind of the same as stated. Going to try working my system into a backpack. I have my 3 helium sticks and platform all strapped together strategically with tent loops and two bungies. I carry them with an extra linesman’s rope which I use to also carry the whole set up the tree and unhook...

    Leaners and Knee Pads

I’ve been mixing between both since I’m new to this. I also have a sit drag. I own a pair of Sitka Timberline pants which are not only amazing for durability, but they have knee pads that you can take in and out. Awesome piece.
