    As someone who owns a pair of his spurs I’d recommend that you buy the gecko spurs...I’ve had issues with Dale on service work, he’s pretty poor when it comes to customer service.

    Foot placement when shooting

    This pic might help you. This is how I set up, I mostly prefer wider trees so I can hide behind them, I have four squirrel steps placed about 4 1/2" above my platform, this allows me 360 Degrees of shooting and also allows me to go all around the tree if needed.

    I used an 11mm static rope that I had from my rock climbing gear, I think it was made by blue water...its quite a stiff rope and works well for its purpose, I think monster also makes a similar rope.

My choke is not connected to the bridge, it’s connected to my lineman’s rope, and is easily stored on my left side using daisy chain loops and clipped the the lineman‘s loop, I leave it there even when i decide to just use...

    Thanks for the reply. I’m familiar with those and wouldn’t buy them , they are too hard and not flexible. I’ve had my Arc’teryx pads for years and love them, I think I paid $23.00 for the pair, I’ll be buying them again once I find a deal.

    DIY Tree Squeeze/Choke.

    I have a second linesman hanging from my saddle, it’s made from 8mm climbing rope, I use it only to hold me to the tree while I move up the main linesman and choke.
