    just something other than rubber which is slippery when wet between your boot and the tree. Could be studs. In your cold weather condition studs may serve dual purpose. I’ve climbed plenty of wet trees 2TC. I just take it a little slower. Never tried climbing frozen wet trees though.

    They already make studded ice crampons and I have had the thought to get some and remove the back studs and only leave a few toward the toes. I just don’t know if the juice would be worth the squeeze.

    Hahaha! My son coming two months early blew the remodel out of the water. And my wife has been understanding. I have gotten a surprising amount done but I still lack the bathroom remodel lol. That said I did struggle explaining this one to the Mrs.
