    Bow Press DIY or Buy

Fwiw I did limbs on an allegiance with the bowmaster press. Cut the t handle out and use a socket wrench. Run the bolt way down through the body and use the widest cable setting you can. Worked great for me. Got an apple archery press new for like $150 bucks last year. It's slow with the...

    Aging this buck

This property is corps of engineers, they give out 300 permits, typically sees 0-15 hunting it a day. Nobody signed out any bucks after this pic so if he can stay out of the road I'd like to find him. I appreciate the advice. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    Aging this buck

Eric I appreciate it. I would shoot him in a second. As well as all the better bucks I've seen. (And most of the smaller ones and does for what that's worth[emoji41]) Main reason I'm asking is i trying to piece this puzzle together a little bit better. Unfortunately I have only had cameras out...

    Aging this buck

Can anyone give me an idea on how old a buck I'm looking at here? I'm trying to figure out some other things and I'm thinking the age may help. Of course I would love to get to a point of aging them on my own, I'm just not there yet. All that being said this is one of the bigger racked deer...

    My simple expandable frame pack.

I almost went the Alice route, but the price of the molle frames I was finding won it. I also felt like all of the holes were going to be easier to keep my webbing where I wanted it Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    My simple expandable frame pack.

It's bulk cordura nylon. 500d. Can be purchased on eBay, camo fabric Depot or something like that online. I already had it from making some seat covers. I took a large piece, folded it over and sewed around all sides Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    My simple expandable frame pack.

So like I mentioned after rods post above I notched out the load carrying area to better fit my sticks and platform in the center of the pack, and added some buckles for the pairs of sticks. I will then be sitting the platform between them, I've been bungeeing my knee cushion to the platform...

Anyone hang their cameras high in the tree?

It was, I believe if they aren't carrying those they are too mobile to be caught on trail cams Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    My simple expandable frame pack.

I love that set up rod. So minimalist. I may notch the area below the backpack on mine to put my sticks more in line like yours. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    My simple expandable frame pack.

I have never put hands on one of those climbers, so I can't exactly speak for the size of it. I assume you use it to climb and don't need sticks. If I was in that spot, I'd consider the same basic set up but add a sleeve to hold the hand climber. So molle frame pack, layer of cordura, platform...
