    Why carry so much crap?

Getting out there with kids work etc like most of you is a challenge. I’ll forget something so I actually have a fairly loaded pack and wear a Ghillie suit with pockets. Every year all in same places and often carry way more than I need but bc it’s always the same (give or take) I can grab and...

    What's your job

Yup. Agree. A hands free way to get down if hands are frozen injured etc (treestand wingman) and satellite comms (delorme/garmen text) to get help. After that not a ton in woods you can do. Maybe epipen. Take care.

    Ditch the Ropeman

Thank you! Does that work with a full load? Where did you get the little ring?

I almost got stuck in the tree this weekend. Beware!

Funny you say this because yesterday I was up 15 feet. Newer to saddle myself, I put foot pressure on the arms of the lone wolf climber and it released from grip and fell. I did have it attached to my crotch straps of the tethrd mantis but it was 6 feet below me. Surprisingly I had trouble...

WTB LW Hand climber top PLEASE CLOSE

They r $160 on eBay. Free ship. Prob the best you can do and it’s new. Also piece of mind that it’s new with your sons safety at hand. Worth the extra dime. Good luck. I used mine today! Used a transom strap for the first time to secure at height. Loved it.

Side load on LW hand climber seat

Thx man. I see the safety rope too. Lone wolf option seems to be such a easy transition since I’ve used it forever as a climber. Such a cool option to go saddle w it. Good luck.

Side load on LW hand climber seat

What do you guys use to secure your feet? I have 2 short bungies but depending on which boots I wear I may need to adjust. That takes time. If too tight it’s a pain in the butt to pull over boots in the dark. If loose the platform falls off.

    Offseason boredom debate

Ghillie top and bottom, nothing blue, HECS base later and Atsko detergent. You r not human when you do that. I hope someone else has this combo and has seen the difference in close sightings.

    How noisy can/should you be?

Tinks 69 on your boots and base of tree. That is all.

Working toward next season's goals NOW.

Great goals. And the mind prep begins now and is critical. You have avg 5-10 seconds each season sometimes to make a critical decision when it’s time to shoot. Start making every detail perfect now. And the honey do’s keep coming so cleaning that pellet stove now or changing the oil on the lawn...

    Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Woodboogers....?!

Buddy had a emu run by him, all we heard over the Garmen radio was “holy sh$$ that’s a big turkey” I still laugh just thinking of that moment

    Safety and Medical

The Delorme or Spot are one way or two way texting devices and for those of us who hunt outside cell service (I go to northern NY) it’s a must. You just never know what can happen, I’ll leave it at that. Trauma/med kits are great but remember, if your truly injured or sick you need help. And on...

    Safety and Medical

Good point. I have it as a separate attachment once to height. Its redundant since the tether should never fail but piece of mind and could allow a descent if needed handsfree.

    Safety and Medical

For the ultra safety conscious and to spur some discussion, I recommend two accessories. As a health care provider I can say that it is far easier to prevent an issue than to try to fix or heal one. So, it’s true that if u hunt from height that you should consider whether that’s safe at all if...
