U.S. Forest Service Land - No hunting beyond this point signs from land, no signs from water

My stand point is if you knowingly do something in a grey area, expect to get a ticket if you get caught. I recently emailed the office that manages a National Wildlife Refuge by me and asked them to confirm you could use a boat with the motor up in a No motor canal, then lower the motor once...

    Free Solo

The other thing about that Documentary that was amazing me was during the parts where they described the hardest parts of climb you can tell he had that entire climb memorized down to the small finger movements. I thought that was really impressive.

I have been using one both to dry wash my gear and in the woods this year for the first time but i find i keep smelling it which i am sure means i am breathing in more than i want. How does everyone else set it up on stand? below their feet? on their pack? only use if there is a breeze? deal...

I hear what you guys are saying but thats not the answer i wanted lol. In all seriousness the assessors office is a good idea. I just checked their online page and there are still areas that dont have any info. The areas im looking at are typically marshy but the similar areas are spoken for so...

    Missing/No Land Ownership Information

When i use ONX or basemaps with land ownership data i sometimes find chunks of land that dont have any land ownership data, either public or private. Does anyone else find this to be true? If so, how do you handle it? treat it as public? private? I am not sure how the land ownership info is...

    Tired of Using Waders

Last year i had success staying dry crossing some creeks by making my own "waders" using camo rain pants (https://grundens.com/shop/collections/commercial-fishing/gage-weather-watch-pant-camo/) and putting a heavy duty rubber band over my the legs of them to hold them down to my rubber boots...

    Scentlok $19.99 mask

I feel almost exactly like @BuckTown. They are offering a product with more bells and whistles (Carbon filter, comfortable features, washable/reusable) than the standard PPE and if people chose to pay up for it, that is their prerogative. honestly is i needed a mask for work i would consider one...

The Heavy Arrow Movement is Flawed

Out of curiosity, what makes you say that deer are reacting to the arrow not the bow? i would think this would be hard to identify even as anecdotal evidence.

The Heavy Arrow Movement is Flawed

I didnt mean to say his explanation was draw length is proportional to kinetic energy, just part of why he felt he had enough power. I am also paraphrasing a video from two years ago so i dont want to misrepresent anyone.

The Heavy Arrow Movement is Flawed

To be fair i can remember a THP video 2 years ago probably where Aaron kills a quartering in buck that died within sight, and he says that he took the shot because he has a long draw length and he was confident his arrow would get through the shoulder. I'm not an expert and this is anecdotal...
