Who hangs their cameras 10' or so up in the tree?

Here's the design I was working on to make it easier to hang a camera when standing on a stick. I'd like two or so people to beta test for me, since I'd like to sell it at a later date. If you're interested in beta testing one, PM me. I think the design will work well - and I set it up to work...

Useful hunting related 3D printer files

Where'd ya find that? I remember seeing some but they all had antlers to print, or did you just not print the antlers?

Who hangs their cameras 10' or so up in the tree?

I've been buying this webbing and making my own straps: https://a.co/d/3cJ4Uvi It blends in really well. I was using camo paracord previously, but I've been very happy with this webbing lately. I've only had a few cameras messed with (stole the memory cards) and only one legitimately stolen (off...

Who hangs their cameras 10' or so up in the tree?

I almost always hang my cameras 10' or so up in a tree. I hunt almost exclusively public. I usually bring my one stick with me when I hang cameras, with a linesman belt. Standing just a few feet up on the one stick with the linesman belt allows me to use both hands to hang a camera. I think...

Useful hunting related 3D printer files

I'd been gone from this thread for a while.... For hunting related, I worked on some camera mounts. The first was the grey one, which was fine but the camera brand I'm using is moving more to having the 1/4-20 mount on the back of the camera instead of the bottom and this did not give enough...

Leafy suit with high-vis orange state requirements?

I'm seriously considering an ASAT Vanish Leafy Suit, but am curious of the experiences from those who live in states which require both high-vis orange vests and hats. I do have a vest which in UV looks camo (kinda like this https://www.atsko.com/u-v-killer-camo-blaze-orange-vest/ ) so I think I...

Trying to decide on a pouch for rappel rope

I'd been looking at that one - it was hard to find any videos of people using it though, and I was really interested in how floppy it was. I understand it attaches to a leg molle point to help reduce that but I was unsure how effective that was.

Trying to decide on a pouch for rappel rope

I'm pretty sure I understand what you're doing but do you have a pic by chance?' I like the mesh pocket idea. Rain won't stop me from hunting and it seems like this would be the easiest to dry out.

Man - that picture brings back a memory of when I tipped over a bottle of that cleaner when I was a teenager and it took forever for the smell to go away.

Trying to decide on a pouch for rappel rope

Just the normal pouch (8x6?). On my left I'm carrying milkweed, extra biner, retrieval line, and linesman with a Kong (other end of it is girth hitched to my belt). I have been running a backpack for long sits with water, snacks, HYS strap, etc in it, but for 1-2 hour sits I usually just bring...

Trying to decide on a pouch for rappel rope

I'd been using a roll-up for a while and wanted to try switching to a pouch for my pull up rope (38' or so of Canyon C-IV). I initially tried stuffing it in my EWO fleece pouch and it does fit snugly in there, so I was going to order a 2nd EWO fleece pouch since I only have one but they are out...

    Mesh Base Layer Option

I bought a set after reading this thread and wore it the other day. I was quite surprised how well it kept me at an even temperature - not hot, but not cold either. Just slightly warm even though it was pretty warm out and I was in the direct sun all day and would have normally sweat a bunch. I...
