1 sticking with a stand???

Got my RDA one stick setup yesterday. Got a chance to climb with it earlier. It’s a solid, extremely fair priced option. Loved the extra room of the lookout top step. Gonna work out great for me paired with my Ridge Runner 2.0.

I agree. For folks who don't have a stick sitting around to modify with sundry components, you can configure a pretty nice one stick at very reasonable cost.
 
Got my platform in and on. Just need a bottom bolt. And waiting on my bottom step with sewn in aider.

I can't be sure but this may have been the first 1 stick climbing video I ever saw.


Funny that the end result was to gain height for setting a hang-on. It's pretty amazing that one sticking has been transformed into a hunting method. And here we are again.

I don't know that it's necessary but I can see how a flat scout might benefit someone pairing the method with a hang on. Worth revisiting.

No dedicated stick, cam cleat, rope mod, or saddle, was that guy even one sticking???
