U.S. Secretary of the Interior David L. Bernhardt announced today at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge the historic opening and expansion of over 850 hunting and fishing opportunities across more than 2.3 million acres at 147 national wildlife refuges and national fish hatcheries.

We were looking at amounts of public land per state yesterday at work. If ya want to ask yourself, "How's this possible?" Do a quick google search of Ted Turner's land ownership.

This is wonderful but the tone of the announcement is so rosy towards sportsmen I did a quick search on secretary Bernhardts background. He’s a lobbyist for oil and gas and other industries. They are going to open up some land and then drill/extract on a lot more land and use opening access to gain support.

Im a lobbyist for gas everytime I eat fast-food while driving to the newly opened public to go hunting

Think of the quality animals that folks will have access to, that haven't been hunted. Pretty amazing. Way different than the past administrations that kept locking down THE PEOPLE'S LAND.

I have to believe DJT Jr., who's an avid sportsman, has put a bug in his old man's ear to influence things like this, which definitely don't align with the GOP platform.
