2 step or 3 step aider for one-sticking?

3 step @ 20” spacing. 6’4” so fits me just fine. After 3 moves I usually end up around 20’ in tree at platform level.
 
I’m 6-1 and really enjoyed a 2 step 20” aider with a 15” EWO ultimate stick. Tried a 12” version but preferred the 15” based on shin contact.

You gotta have a 3 step. To figure out step distance just sit in the saddle and hang your platform as high as you can reach while sitting. Mark where you can comfortably get your foot to and measure the distance between foot and platform. Divide that into 3 steps.
 
15" EWO with UP. Had a two step @ 15" and found i needed three steps both for the first move and subsequent moves.
