Haven’t seen a price drop on these in a long time. With prices going up on everything since 2020, this is a rare opportunity to get great climbing sticks at a discount… better act fast if you want them!

Beast Gear 20” Sticks

Yup. Seems like they returned to the original, lower price. Price on treestand is lower, too. (But I hear you can leave a tip at checkout now, so maybe some kind souls will make up the difference! LOL.)

I'm debating right now between these and the Hawk Helium, which are considerably cheaper at $125 for 4 sticks. Whereas the beast would cost $320 for 4 sticks - what's the difference? What are the beast so much more?

Because they are way better. Grip the tree like none other, lighter, no moving parts and made in the USA.

i was in your shoes a few years ago. at that point i bought a 3 pack of the hawk 30 inch sticks (in hind sight should have gone for the 4 pack of 20s). they worked fine for the first season, but they're awkward and heavy to carry in. if you can afford the beast sticks (or a different set of top end sticks, though these are the best deal at the moment), i'd reccomend you buy them. many of us (myself included) replace cheaper sticks after a season or two anyway, and if you find you dont like them you should be able to resell them in the classifieds for exactly what you've paid (just wait til september to sell)
welcome to the forum, there's tons of good info here.

From what I can remember, I didn’t think the heliums were too bad at gripping the tree.. but beast are superior and I feel like would last longer. I’m a buy once, cry once kind of guy though. I have purchased some “cheaper” things that were fine, but more often than not I find it worth the extra money. Generally, they hold value better too! Resale is important to me.

to be completely honest, I never had issues with my hawks gripping or kicking out other than the first time using them, with stock straps, and limited personal knowledge. after that no issues but i usually cinched them down with daisy chains and a timber hitch so tight the post would flex a bit (remember these are the 30 inch ones, (im not sure if the 20s flex), and i didnt like knowing it flexed at all. packing them in and out was ultimately the most annoying factor for me, to be honest i got up a tree just fine with them, just like the beast sticks.

resale is pretty much nonexistent on hawks. my stealth stripped 30's are still sitting here waiting for someone local to want them or for me to leave them in a tree as a preset if i get permission to hunt anywhere i can leave stuff overnight (unlikely)

I should mention I never used the straps, maybe that’s why! I made ropes from amsteel.

Looks like the 24” beast sticks have been discontinued.

Also, it looks like they have further reduced the price on the mini beasts. I wonder if they are trying to clean out inventory. New sticks? Going belly up?

Strange they’re discontinuing the 24” stick. Seems like they’re clearing out inventory for something. I can’t imagine him coming out with a new stick. Never know though

Can honestly never go wrong with beast sticks.
in my honest opinion One of the top two best sticks on the market.
Grips to tree like no other,
Only other sticks i use is thr lwcg doubles. Love them too.
