There will be new rules this year that do not require frantic posting of new members before the contest (per RedSquirel). You should still post, but do so in a responsible manner and not to reach a threshold.

That sure is good news, because I usually don't have anything good to say!!
 
Oh yeah, you boys are done for! I've been winning deer contests on forums since '05. Won bow contests where we counted everything from squirrels to deer, bow contests just deer, gun deer contests and and everything in between. Ain't never won a saddle contest, so I gotta add that to the ol resume. To all of you not on my team, you're going down harder than the southern outdoorsman in that aider video!

Great idea! That’s my only complaint about these contests. People join then you never hear from them again!

Well it’s a cool crisp 55 degrees here this morning in north east Ohio. Really starting to feel like fall and feeling the crunch of getting all the honey do’s done before September 28th. I have 45 days off of work from the opener till gun season to bow hunt. Hoping to have success here and have enough time to do a diy out of state trip somewhere. Would love to be part of the contest this year. Would also like to get a crack at one of this little guys off spring. Unfortunately I think he fell victim to poaching two years of pictures, no confirmed hunting on the hoof sightings and he was found opening day of gun on a drive already a skeleton.

He was always out and about until mid September then a ghost smart old deer. Hope he spread his genes around a lot. An Amish man found him I heard he was measured at 212” and 225” but no confirmation

This buck is my #1 for this year. Pic is from last year post season and I set some cameras 2 weeks ago hoping to pick him back up. I have pics of him the last 3 years and I’d guess he is 5 1/2 maybe even 6 1/2. I have a feeling he could explode this year. Fingers crossed!
