The horns on either side of the hat aren't a matched set. Only the one in the middle is fresh. It's from a buck I have on camera and even stalked to within bow range of him when he had a doe locked down during the rut. Passed on him then and glad I did. It's cool finding their antlers. Get to have your cake and eat it too!

I picked up a few through the season, all old ones. Also picked up 4 mule deer sheds when I was in Colorado this year.

I also picked up my biggest dead head, a monster 8 pt! He scored 146 with his broken brow tine, probably would easily over 150 if he wasn't broke. His bases were over 6 inches! Ton of mass on him! Wish I would have had a chance to hunt him.

Well didn’t find any shed today but I did come across a little button Buck he had something seriously wrong with him. being so close to the road I think he might have been hit by a car he couldn’t move his front legs to good There was a dead doe shoved to the side at the parking lot maybe tried crossing the road together? I don’t know but I tried to get his head out from under the weeds to get him up he started flopping through the thick brush and ended up committing suicide into a 10x10 pool of water the thorns were so thick it took longer to get back to him I pulled him out but he was dead. Looking to put in a full day of shed hunting tomorrow hopefully I find something better
