Fun fact, maybe common knowledge I dunno, but Xpedition has a $1999 bow made out of magnite. I shoot 5 year old aluminum Xpeditions tho. Wonder if we’ll see increasing use of it, anybody know anything else made from it?
Edit: Magnite combines aluminum-magnesium alloy with ceramic nanoparticles and other rare earth elements to create a material that is stronger and more consistently manufactured than carbon while simultaneously being lighter than aluminum.

This material does impress me. My secondary and post-secondary education was at a school with a respected program in Ceramic Engineering and Materials Science. I used to wonder back in the late 80's and early 90's if a ceramic riser could ever be developed....... that was stiff and light but didn't conduct cold as readily as the metals.A look at the new bows from them:
