Definitely would be interested even though it would be a couple hours drive for me from Western NY and I would need permission from my Big Boss. Lol. Thanks for your initiative!
As long as its not the 1st week of April. Heading to Iowa to prep for next fall.

I'd be coming from WNY (Buffalo) as well, maybe there's a chance of us meeting up beforehand & see if carpooling/convoy is an option.

Ok, well its December. The season is on it's way out..... So let's get a plan together and get it moving!
Let's hear a tune frame y'all would like to see this happen! March, April ? Turkey season is in May so we could do a whole day, turkey hunt til noon and a meet and greet in the afternoon.
I'm thinking Hillman state park in western pa, just off of RT 22 and RT18 near Bavington. This area gives us plenty of trees to climb, we can bring targets and shoot bows. It's also pretty easy to access! We can do some scouting with new guys and show them what to look for when scouting.
No facilities so we'd need camp chairs and ways to cook up some food but we address that later.
Also, we can do a pay it forward type or a gear swap in addition to saddle demos.
If anyone has any ideas post em up.

Not that I am aware of. There maybe at raccoon state park which is close by.

PA DNR says Hillman is managed by Raccoon creek state park so Hillman must be devoid of facilities which means it's better for a meetup. Raccoon Creek advertises modern camping facilities.

Raccoon has camping areas and is close. Not sure if I can make it, but if it is at Hillman then I may be one of the closest people to it. That is only about 10 min from my house. If anyone is traveling to the area and needs help with any logistics please post up as I should be able to answer any questions.

I grew up in Chippewa, so only about 20 min from where I used to be. Now I live in Western WI/SE Minnesota region. Wish I was home when you guys were meeting up!

Okay, it appears we have a location, GOODWILL HILL SPORTSMANS out of burgettstown. Very close to starlake.
I have yet to 100% lock this down but it's looking very good.
Now, let's get a plan together!
Would guys be willing to make food, bring drinks, plates, and so on.
This year I'm hoping to have some guys that are interested in but dont have a saddle yet! Time will tell! Let's hear some ideas, again this is going to be no alcohol during the meet, as we want to keep it free for attendees.. otherwise I'd have to get event insurance....
