Mods… if this turns political feel free to close this thread, I’m just curious if anybody smarter than me would care to read this proposal and let me know if I purchase an ebike, like tomorrow, would the tax credit still apply for 30% off, assuming it passes, for any 2021 purchase, or must the purchase be made after the tax credit is passed, and once again assuming it passes, big if probably. Anybody have any input, I was ready to buy my first ebike yesterday and stumbled on this, I would hate like heck to buy one now if I could save 30% in a couple months. I said screw it and ordered one, waiting for this tax credit to pass would require more patience than I have, if somebody hears anything about it passing keep the rest of us informed.
 
Dang…I get a military discount already. This might be the catalyst for me getting an ebike. Thanks for sharing!
If this passes that’s a done deal for me.
 
Ordered one 2 weeks ago but still curious if this is applicable.
