.350 legend ballistics question

I believe Leupold has a 350 BDC scope. I'm also new, Sig has the BDX and Buckmasters that are intriguing. They call it digital focal plane. Basically it puts a dot in the scope that correlates to whatever you ranged with the rangefinder. I have some but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I know it's be super techie but I want to get it right.

I seen this afternoon, it's been hard to come by, I'd grab some if it's what you want.

Best of luck to you!

That's a great offer...however I just went and bought a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40mm Riflescope, Duplex CDS. Oh well...

I bought a Savage axis 350 legend bolt action rifle that has a weaver 3x9x40 scope on it. I got it for 349.00 at Rural king this January. I have not shot it yet but from all I have seen it is a good round and the ammo is much more available and cheaper than the 12ga sabot slugs.

Can't go wrong with a Leupold scope or a duplex reticle. You can do some research on using your reticle to range targets, and swap it to another rifle down the road.

I'll have to look into that. I love the fact that I can now cover (If Illinois passes this law) almost my entire small property when I sit on the middle of the field edge...

Not super accurate, but good enough for minute-of deer at practical hunting distances. Takes some legwork to figure out but very doable.

I'm looking at getting either the cva scout in .350 or the Henry and pairing with a Leupold .350 legend scope with CDS.
I use a CVA scout in a 44mag currently for my deer gun. Never had any issues. Good accuracy as far as I can shot. Which isn't far. It's a good gun for the price.

100 yards by my rangefinder.

1st target was with the Winchester 180 grain rounds. top 4 rounds...adjust down and the next group was almost on. The last three rounds was touching the bullseye.

Next up was the Hornady 170 grain bullets. Top three rounds was off my shooting bag. Went to my lead sled for the bottom three rounds. This was at 100 yards.

Last target was from the Winchester 150 grain bullets...5 rounds 2.5" high.

I sighted the Leupold CDS scope with the 180 rounds...now just waiting for the CDS turrent to get sent to me from Leupold. Once the straight wall cartridge law is passed I now know where each of the two to three rounds that I will most likely shoot hits.

When I bought my Winchester XPR, I shot a lot of ammo and the Federal Power Shok 180g grouped the best for me. The Savage Axis I bought my son seemed to like just about anything, so I went with the Winchester 180g.

Any one try the 160g Winchester hp's? I've been shooting the 145g fmj for now. I've got a Ruger American

I have a cheap 3-9 scope that came with my savage in 350 legend. I’m going to pick one of these up before next season. It’s made for the 350L

I absolutely love shooting this gun. I killed a couple deer and a coyote with it last season and it was devastating on them. It’s super fun because of the lack of recoil. My kids will love it too.

I went to the range this morning to sight in that ar 350. 170gt Hornady, the scope is a Bushnell banner 2 3x9 with the bullet drop retical. Zeroed at 100 it was 1" or 2" low at 50, point of aim at 100, and the 2nd (200yd) dot on the retical 2" low at 200.
