The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

I usually take like 3-4 days off starting the day after season closes.
Offseason scouting never really ends, but I do most of it from November through April. Now I'm turkey hunting but if I run across some deer stuff I'm going to file it away in my brain.
I don't do much in the summer. May glass some fields a few evenings or do some light poking around when we get a cool snap.
September I start hitting it hard again trying to piece together the big woods food sources that are going to dictate how the fall goes.
I'll run some cameras over summer too but it's more a curiosity thing and something to do than an effective scouting tool.
I don't get too antsy about the upcoming season until we get through the usual garbage summer weather and get those first couple cold snaps. That really activates my hunting juices again.
