Drilling and insertingAre you drilling and inserting the rebar or climbing up a 10 foot length?
What bolts do you recommend?I wouldn’t for couple reasons: bolts are cheap, rebar is soft , you’ll never get it back out of the tree last but not least seems like a pretty sharp edge if you came down on it via LB........it absolutely will work but there are way better options.
The coated ones from Treehopper work great. Grade 8 6.5" 5/16 I believe. I use one with bright eyes strip around eye level. Cheaper when you buy from Mark in bulk. https://www.treehopperllc.com/shop/What bolts do you recommend?
No. They are 3/8" bolts, not 5/16.The coated ones from Treehopper work great. Grade 8 6.5" 5/16 I believe. I use one with bright eyes strip around eye level. Cheaper when you buy from Mark in bulk. https://www.treehopperllc.com/shop/
Sent from up in a tree
Probably expensive? Being stainless steel!Has anyone here tried stainless steel bolts? They are much lighter than steel.
