6 months of practice, for nothing

Prayers for a speedy recovery. It really sucks that stuff like this happens. Hopefully your surgery goes well.

Been riding two powered wheels since I was 7. 56 years ago. A few get offs, but worst injury's racing. Still lower back pain from hitting the wall at NH motorspeedway. None of mine as serious as yours.
You will recover.
On two wheels we always have to remember every son of a bitch is out to kill you.
Work hard to get back to where you were before the accident.
My best, Rev

Drove by a motorcycle wreck yesterday and life flight was on scene. No protection on a bike. Speedy recovery to OP!

I always wear gear when I ride. It definitely helped to keep my injuries down. And everyone at the 2 hospitals I have been in, have thanked me for wearing it. Which was very surprising.

There is a ground blind hunt in November on public land. I don't know if i can shoot a bow by then. So may have to get a crossbow for it. Will see when it gets close, if i can handle it.

Thanks for all the kind words

What state are you in? I'd bet there's locals on here that would help get you out (if you're anywhere near Maryland I'm game to help drag/haul gear/ put your wheelchair in off-road wheelie mode and get it done. Can't help much with hunting advice but I can be a mule)

Prayers sent for speedy and full recovery. Count your blessings that you survived. I lost my father to a motorcycle accident in 1975. He was 40, I was 12.
