? Is 7/64 is rated for 1,600 lb Breaking.

When daisy chained ,
what is the breaking strength.

I think that is right . I would go bigger ,I like a overkill factor .

It would be the same, however the load is being shared to a certain extent.

Most straps that come with sticks with cam buckles are 800lb I believe. The tethrd Versa straps are 1200 I think. 1600 is PLENTY for a stick

If you daisy chain it you double the rope up too. Just make two wraps around the versa button on your first loop.

Would you trust it for a platform? Thanks. I’m trying to figure out a way to get my predator Platform around a bigger tree

I think the Versa straps people are using from tethrd and others are about 1200 lbs. the strap on my platform or any platform is usually about 800ish I believe. So I would say yes.

Always a good idea to strap in before stepping onto the platform though, just in case

Sure. I just don’t use it for my platform because I like the way the strap tightens and doesn’t slide down the tree when I toe hook it and re cam it.

I couldnt bring myself to use 7/64. Although like others said its rated higher than most straps its just so thin. I went with 1/8th amsteel. My opinion means nothing tho.

I felt the same way. Plus there is no appreciable difference in weight between the 7/64 and the 1/8.

No issues using the 7/64 on my Beast Sticks and Predator.
Rock Solid on setup.
