I'm still experimenting with bridge length so here's my temp bridge set up.
I did a locked Brummel (thru to saddle loop on one side) and thru the other loop, I did a Rolling Magnus Hitch.
I think G2 tried the RMH but said he had trouble getting it to not slip.
It holds tight for me when I need it to, and slides easily when I want to adjust the length.
I figure I will hunt with it one year and dial the length in. Then I will do a stitched loop on a carabiner.

I went to a fixed bridge not long after messing with the stock bridge to get a length I feel comfortable with for now, love the lock brummel but not so much of a fan of a stitch lock. From my experience with amsteel it is pretty slick but I know that the RMH has a very tight lockdown. I just wanted to eliminate as many caribiners as possible, only place I have them is on my ropeman. I think you will end up with a fixed bridge before season.
