Great idea. @Nutterbuster 's video is longer than your total build time. How high can you get with eight of these "steps"? :grinning:
When I used the blocks themselves for climbing I was able to get ~2’ a step. I’d be confident getting 15’ with 8 steps. They are cheap they just don’t pack well.
 
I took a screen shot of this from the saddlehunter facebook page. Cheap ring style platform. You can see through the description is the wrench used to tighten it to the tree

Tight! I’ve been having that very idea, some way to c clamp all the way around a tree. Nice

Maybe you could rattle in a buck with them.
