A rather unsuccessful hunt to say the least

This day actually started a few days ago when I had difficulty repelling with my madrock lifeguard. Me being dumb and new to this, I was just using the belay with nothing else (did this twice). I have a hollow block coming. Well long story short I use my rappel rope to lower my gear and me being in almost the dark and annoyed because a doe busted me a half hour ago and she has been blowing at me the entire time. In my annoyance I get my gear rope caught on a limb or so I thought.....I pull up on the rope and as soon as I do I feel it give and instantly I realize that I just pulled my muddy stick up the tree. After that I sat there in the dark scolding myself for being annoyed a doe got the best of me and for not taking my time. I ease down the tree and tether up again and slowly let myself down and replace my stick. Now I'm at the house with a little vanilla crown and coke and thinking about how nice that purple mattress is fixing to feel.
