Tethrd has been extremely consistent with providing up to date information on the process. Laboratories have caused the delay but Tethrd has kept us all in the loop which says alot about them as a business and a new one to boot. It is rare to see a new company hit the market with one product in a matter of months this is usually a year at least, Tethrd has produced two products in a mere months and is set to off load this precious cargo on us very shortly. @g2outdoors, @Erniepower & the Tethrd Team deserve a standing ovation for their efforts.

Well done guys I personally look forward to the results and am really looking forward to that email that says “Shipped”!!

Not gonna lie, when I got the email that said “shipping update” I almost peed myself with excitement.
Ha ha I did the same thing. I opened my email and was like *** Greg just posted about it being delayed. Then after opening the email the emotional roller coaster took another turn. It must be a side effect of the saddlehunter effect. Ordered two saddles, two years in a row, had two delayed. I’m patient and am not complaining. June 42nd hasn’t got here yet.

On a side not @g2outdoors probably has been as forthcoming as he can but we are talking about a company that was unveiled to the world with one phrase. “I have a secret”

Thanks for the update Greg. You guys are great. I patiently await my very own personalized Mantis!

As for man-purdy, I think Garrett has you and Ernie left way down the dusty country road. :D :D Maybe you guys should hire him as you Spokesperson. ;)

Keep up the good work and updated gentlemen!

Ok guys. Here we go. I have received info from the test lab on the Predator platform.

Boy are we happy. Our goal was to create an ultralight platform for you guys that was still plenty strong. I think we did it. At the lab, we installed several platforms and then added hydraulic pressure to the front edge until they snapped.

The results are awesome!

The weakest of the group broke at #570. And the Strongest was over #700. For you science guys, this would be considered a static loading test. So that means is that if you're 300# or less and don't bounce on the platform like a trampoline, it won't fail you.

A lot of thanks goes to the guys on this forum who contributed to the design and engineering of this saddle hunting awesomeness.

Now to get some boxes packed up and out the door.

As soon as we have the tests back on the Mantis, you will be the first to know!

So I assume that many saddles are being sewn by an outsource. Please tell me they are being manufactured in the US. Also seeing as how our lives are "on the line" could some one tell me about quality control in the manufacturing process.

@Drslyr read over Tethrd’s home page. You can get a better feel for where everything is being made. I applaud the guys for maintaining a very tight tolerance in their manufacturing. A lot of pain & time goes into bringing about a company this fast. Especially a model of one that has not been done before.
