So what is everyone using for accessories? Such as a bow hanger and haul line? Any cool gadgets or DIY items?

Looking at the Hawk GoGadget, seem like a nice bow holder for saddle users with its adjustments.

I'm just looking at a backpack to strap my lone wolf steps to. Looks like it will be the badlands stealth. Has everything I'm looking for in a backpack.

Have you looked at that tenzing pack that has the gun rest in the middle? At first glance I thought that would definitely hold sticks and keep them silent

A great haul line is to get a 25' or 30' retractable dog leash and attach it to your pack. Just clip the leash to your bow and climb.

I use cheap screw in hangers from ****s. I like having my stuff as close to the tree as I can so that when I take my shot, I don't have to worry about where the bow hanger is vs my limb.

Wow I like the dog leash idea, I think I am going to start using that. As far as hangers, I saw that Hawk has the GoGadget or something like that, it has tons of adjustments, seems like it would be nice for those using a saddle. Anyone have experience with that?

My tree strap has four hooks to hang gear on. Its independent of the saddle stuff. Found it on ebay for $10. Much faster than screw ins. Pretty light too. The hooks are injection molded like strap steps.

That is a great idea. Do you have any pics or a link to what you are using?

My backpack has a hang loop at the top.
I have a climbing daisy chain that I girth hitch around the tree and carabiner my pack to the tail.

I have calls, rattles, compass, binoculars on lanyards etc...attached to my pack and in outer accessory pouches.

Often I just have a little loop of paracord or nylon webbing that I use as a bow hanger. Stays flush to the tree and doesn't rattle.

When it's time to pack up, there isn't a bunch of stuff to pack up. I just put accessories back in their pouches and there is no chance of dropping anything as they stay attached all season.

Its an HME too

I use this. It made out of aluminum and bent to this shape. I covered I t with black duct tape. I carry it in my felt hung cover on my bow on way in and out. It works great no need to screw anything into tree. I just hang it from rope that goes around the tree that my bridge is hooked to.

Ok let's try this again. Hate auto correct. I have a fetching cover on my quiver and I put the hook in it.

I usually just hang my pack from a branch or I add several screw in steps. I hang my bow fRom screw in step and use a step as a kind of stop under my rope to prevent it from sliding down.
But I'm gonna have to get one of those multi hook straps like in a couple posts above. Those look very handy

I use a piece of cheap rope with a couple ratchet strap hooks on in. The rope has a figure 8 loop on one end and I hook it to the tree using a monkey's fist on a prusik knot as a toggle through the loop.

I have that one too.

I use these hooks on a summit treestand strap - they are super easy to tighten and stay tight. I put stealth strips on the plastic hooks for noise. This is how my main portable set up has been. I have another summit strap so I will make another as a back up because it has worked very well for me.
