I've had a wedgie for 10 minutes now and can't lift my weight and keep my balance on my ros in order to fix it.....maybe saddles systems aren't as flawless as I initially thought....

This seems to be an under utilized idea. I keep my linemans daisied across the back of my saddle, and it's very easy to unclip and throw it around the tree if you need a bit of a break from your tether.
I do the same all season, my lineman’s belt never leaves the back of my saddle. Makes it stay out of the way and always there if needed to make adjustments.

Agree, it is very under utilized. I've seen a lot of complaints lately where this was the simple solution. I most frequently do it when I have to pee and when I'm adding a layer.

I'll often tie a handhold above my tether that is nice for making these sort of adjustments. I can pull myself up and take tension off the saddle in order to adjust it. Sometimes I tie to the tree and sometimes its a prusik above the ropeman. Either works.

Mine was riding up occasionally also. I got my new j hooks for the leg straps on my mantis hooked them up high and tightened to comfort, put the old j hooks back onto the ends of the leg straps and hooked the slack to the bottom loops and tightened. It solved the issue.
