I currently have a Petzl corax harness that I use and I have been wanting to add some proper lineman loops to it when I get my Singer 4452 for Christmas, don't tell the wife I know. I am looking for advice on how to do this, specifically what material to use and how to properly sew it on.

Just by a sterling sling that's 1" wide and 24" long. Insert it along the harness belt and your good

You could get 2 short runners and girth hitch each one to ur harness, I'm actually gonna pull off my first one to add the runners as I think they will be lighter and less bulky.

Two inch webbing I had laying around. One length going around the back of my harness with a loop on each end. Sewed with speedy stitcher.

I already have one of those slings so I will use it. However there is no way to insert it into the harness belt that I can see.

Is the dark Grey portion sewn to the light grey 1" belt in the area where the green arrow is? If it's not you can put that sterling sling through there. I have a petzl Aspir and it's made. Bit different

I've been looking into this myself. The belt loops on the Aspir allowing a belt to be slid through have probably put that harness on my shortlist. I can't quite bring myself to trust one of the Chinese made harnesses with loops already on them, even though I would guess that every harness I've worn has been made overseas lol
