As shown in some previous pics, there are times when a loc on type stand will work better. I have some spots where there are these willow trees that have so many branches you just cannot setup correctly with a saddle. If I shot RH, maybe, but LH didn’t work so well. A hang on would have for the bill better. So, there are situations where one works bette then the other. due to some of these frustration, I sold my most of my saddle gear (After 2 yrs of use) Then I went out with the LW and remembered why the saddle was nice. So, a “Wraptor” will be in my ”tool chest” as a tool for the job when needed.
if you scout, and have predetermined spots for certain areas, that will help in making the choice of what type of stand is needed, wether it be a loc on, or a saddle. When I just had my LW, a lot of sits, I would hang it on the back side to hide from deer, so a saddle fit good.
