Aero Hunter - Shipping delay

Just a short FYI for anyone out there that might order any Aero Hunter items from New Tribe. I ordered my Aero Hunter Kestrel tree saddle a couple weeks ago and it has not shipped yet. However, they have been great keeping me informed on what is going on. It turns out their office is heavily impacted by the wildfires in Oregon. Debbie, their office manager, sent me the following:

Since I spoke with you last, we ended up being fully evacuated due to the fire. I finally was able to come back today and the rest of the employees will be here Monday! I would say that we still should be okay for by the end of August. I will let you know if anything changes.

The Monday she is referring to is August 6th. I'm anxious to get my hands on it because I want to spend some time with it before the season begins but I understand it's out of their hands. Hopefully, they will have something on the way soon.

If you don't mind, when did you place your order? I placed mine on 7/27. I haven't received any emails or other contact.

I was aware of the fires and the likely disruption to their operation.

I placed my order on July 20th. I knew there were fires nearby but didn't know they had been evacuated for a bit. Hopefully they will have something out to us soon.
 
Good news! I ordered a kite on 7/9 and was told two weeks. I wasn't bugging them because I knew of the fire. Hoping it ships soon, I should be pretty high in line! I need to do photos for an article and sold my kestrel. Between the kite and mantis one better show up in the next week!
 
I placed my order on 7/11 for a Kestrel. Debbie gave me an estimated shipping quote of 7/27 the following day. Haven’t got shipping notification yet, but I heard of the evacuation so I’ve been patient. Looking forward to getting it and trying it out when it does arrive.
 
Just received an update on my order (#1868) that was placed on 7/12...Debbie says it will ship by 8/24. A little longer than I was hoping for, but I'm glad their shop survived the fires and everyone is safe. I give them credit for giving lots of updates and keep everyone informed!
 
I heard from Debbie yesterday as well. My order was just this week, and has an expected ship date of 9/21...My order will probably be delayed further, as I want the ISC buckles on the leg straps. Not sure I'm a fan of the frame buckles....
 
I got word last week mine is in process so hopefully before the end of the month. I’m also waiting for the ISC buckles. It just seems like a better fit for me. I know the other style comes apart too but it looks like a pain to do at your leg level.

I ordered 7/17 and got a message saying 8/24. I originally ordered with the isc buckles but they said they wouldn't get them in until late September and it would delay shipping to sometime in october.
 
I just received my UPS notification that my package is sitting on my doorstep! It is finally here. I also received a message from Debbie that they did receive the ISC buckles so I'll have them around the legs as well as at the waist. Anyone that was concerned about that like I was should be good to go.
 
My order was 11 days after you so... it is going to be a loooong week and a half!

I was quoted mid September so that seems about right.

I've got the kite and it's awesome. Quality construction and breathable. You'll be happy when it arrives.
 
Mine came yesterday. Same date I was quoted. Wish I knew the ICS buckles would be in. I changed the order so it wouldn't delay the order. Not thrilled with the other style. Metal on metal and rattles. I'll have to figure out a way to silence them up. otherwise I'm excited to try it out. Test run this weekend.

They don't bother me since I wear my saddle into the woods. Here's a link where others have switched them out.
 
Thanks for the link. I'll probably wear mine too so it's good to know it isn't a problem. All I did was link them up and shake them so far.
