Aerohunter Kite with some upgrades!

I did make the call and since my saddle is not yet in production (ordered 8/29) they were able to do the change to the sewn in adjustable bridge without delaying the shipping date. They are knocking customer service out of the park. And I am not even upset about it taking so long because I know it can’t be easy on a small company when demand goes through the roof for their product. Some companies would jack up the price at that point just because they can. Glad that’s not the case here and wish them well in their business.

I thought I had asked this already but don’t see my post...

Could some one post details of how the adjustable webbing from aerohunter is done? Want to try a diy of it.

There is one thing about it that I think can be improved... The length of the attachment webbing for the slide should be shorter. The length that it is now reduces how much active bridge there is during rotation. I could only twist so far before my tether carabiner "bottomed-out" against the slide.
I'm running a webbing bridge and slides on my Kestrel. I just put a slide on each side of my bridge with no sewing. The slides are holding fine with zero slippage of the webbing thru the slide.

That being said, I don't know if AH went with that configuration for a good reason. Is their way safer than what I'm doing?? I don't know. So, as with any/all modifications to gear that could be potentially dangerous, BE CAREFUL and FULLY TEST YOUR MOD, before you climb.

I hear ya. I may end up going with water knots instead of sewing because I can get the WK closer to my bridge loops. I am estimating I will need about 2 inches of webbing to get all the stitches I would need. Plus even though stitching can be stronger than WK, the strength of a WK is more known to me than the strength of my stitches.

You can get the slider at Eastern Outdoors. Link below.
Oh yeah, I got 5 already! Will use them on my bridge and all my adjustable aiders (knaider, swaider, CAYG aider)

I just ordered a kite with a webbing bridge with triglide, it’s a free upgrade. The raptor buckles was $28 extra I think. Total was $210 with shipping I think.
