I tried something new yesterday. While I was setting up my spot in a tree, after I attached my Pred platform, I took off my Aider (the big strap, not the one that goes up to your knee) and looped it around the tree. I passed the carabiner through the foot loop and attached my pack to it. Worked like a champ and keeps my pack separate from my strap with my rangefinder, binos ect. One less strap to worry about and more double duty items. If everyone is already doing this, well at least I am pointing out how long it takes me to figure stuff out... Hope this helps a newbie.
