Anybody out there using aiders with they’re platform to try and eliminate a stick or for extra height and if so how do you like it? Would love to see pics if anyone has any. Thanks

Aider for Mission platform???

This is my climbing platform. I used a full Beast stick and the platform last season..then spent all off season playing with different ideas so I could climb with it and got it narrowed down pretty good. I used it soley as my climbing method and platform this year. I have the aider weaved through the platform and back through the end loop. Works great.
You run into any issues with feet being too far away from the tree when climbing? Also, how is getting up onto the platform? Any issues trying to get up and around the actual platform? Interested to try this with my EDP.
No issues, it works great at that distance. I climb with it half open and use a 24" D2 Amsteel aider to keep from fully opening. The cutout on the front center is perfect for my shin/knee placement as I bring my other foot up onto the platform. I know the EDP has a handle in that spot so I'm not sure how well it would work. But it's worth giving it a shot imo.
