Hey, I have 3, 1/4” amsteel blue aiders that I spliced myself. I did not put anything in the footrest area, I.e; rubber hose, pvc tube. How do I keep the aider from hugging so tight to the tree making it difficult to get my boot in it. Not to big of a deal in daylight, but I’m sure when I am coming down in the dark I’m going to run into issues. Especially late season when all bulked up.
Thanks,
