Looking at the ultimaiders on EWO, I would like to make my own. I have the tubular webbing but need the links and tri-glides. What I don't know about is what's inside the tubular webbing? Anyone know what's inside the webbing in the step section?

Yup, I’ve been using 1/2” pex for a while and it works great for this. Just a note, it does not fit inside 1” tubular webbing, so you feed the webbing through the pex and then wrap with camo tape or similar.

A cut piece of rope works to keep the loop open and ya might already have some laying around.

I used 1/4" plastic air hose in mine. Also some guys use heavy duty zip ties. Often used on duct work.
