I came across some webbing/strapping and was wondering if it is something that may work as an aider. Thoughts?

I don't treat my aider like a lifeline. I don't want it to snap or break either though. So I'm not using paracord, but ill use plain old brown 1" webbing as a 1 step aider.

If its supposed to save you life go with at least 22kn, if it isnt fall arrest id just make sure it will hold 3 of you. Im probably wrong, I'm not a professional.
