Not trying to hikack the thread, but here are some pics of the Climb Paws.

Next, my modified paws with Amsteel one step Aider and my own Amsteel “button runner” attachment (basically and long, adjustable soft shackle)

Here they are on my basement “tree”

My modified version (top) is significantly lighter, packs tighter and gives you double the height per paw.

The advantages of the Climb Paws are they are:
super quiet
Light
Comfortable to stand on
Make a great handhold to stretch your spacing out
If you fall on one, they don’t impale you
The blend in the tree very well

The biggest con is that they are just too bulky for most people to even give them a shot
Thanks for taking the time to unearth those paws and get pics with weight uploaded. Much better presentation than what my search brought up.
How much foot hold do the paws feature? I'm going to guess 4" tube was used

I have some climbing paws. I tried to sell them but no interest. Too bulky. 5 squirrels steps are the same bulk as one paw

Yep, for all of the good things about them, that’s a big negative. With my aiders, you could get by with four. Two on each side of your saddle, maybe. That would get you to about 16’-18’ for only 28 ounces.
