Planning on purchasing some Amsteel and making my own daisy chains for some hawk helium’s and a Shikar and an EWO Featherstick. I see most people are selling the finished ones in 7/64th. The price to jump to 1/8 is minimal per stick. Is there any reason that more don’t use the 1/8 or just mostly cost related? I only weigh 180 lbs and I’m sure the 7/64th is fine as I do have one already that’s 7/64th. Just looking for opinions.

Some people choose saving pennies over safety same thing they do with their auto insurance coverage they choose minimal coverage because that's good enough until they get into an accident and they wished they should have gotten more coverage!!

Nothing safer than using stock straps.... Or I guess a ground blind.
