AmSteel for a Line man's Belt and Thether??

Rope with a twisted parallel strands core can be spliced, Marlow’s splice retains about 60-65% of its strength, I’ve come up with another that keeps 75%, and might be able to be improved.
I cheated on the orange one by putting a dyneema core in for an easier, and stronger splice, it is Robline’s Ocean 5000. It is about twice as strong as Amsteel, by a different process.

Pretty cool. I don't splice. Definitely an art. I guess the bug hasn't bitten me yet haha

My extent of making ropes is doing neckies for SRS. This is my latest. Poison outer and 1/4" bungee core
