Amsteel w/ cam cleat?

Figures google finds what I was looking for.

Cam Cleat & Amsteel

I just ordered a cam cleat that accepts rope diameter from 2mm to 6mm. Anyone ever use Amsteel 1/4" on a cam cleat? What was your experience? Curious as it is hollow cored and how much it flattens out. Will it slip? Just asking if anybody has tried. I will test anyway but just curious on...

Using ¼ Amsteel with no issue on Harken 150 for one sticking and platform.

Sample size of one but feels as sturdy as any other gear I have.

Do you have a full bury in the amsteel or just running it straight?
 
I went 1/4" full bury and its a little thick i wish i would have went down a size but it works perfect and makes my EWO stick solid
 
Depends on the cam cleat size. I have harken 150s. I use 7/64 with a full bury.
