Has and one used and ocb strap on an angled scout and a ring of steps??? I was thinking about cutting slits to feed the strap through but figured I’d see what you guys do first

I used to do that quite a bit. Swaped over to more of a hybrid setup with the .5 but I also used the scout and an aider as a sort of one step up the tree. Worked great. Good luck

I used to just use it on presets and wrap the ros above it but I just switched to 2tc (wich means I owe @tailgunner an apology and he can gloat) but now I wanna use the scout and ros as my every day setup so I’d really prefer it be all in one seeing as 2tc was to cut weight to begin with lol

Here's some pictures of my Pre-set Solo Scouts.
They might help you with where to cut the slits?
It's really nice having it all 'one piece'!
I want to do it to my Ridge Runner but haven't got around to it yet...

I knew I had seen someone do it! Thanks man! Looks like you just lobbed the knobs off and centered the cut on the other side of the weld from where they were??

If you look you can see 4 holes drilled in them.
You can lag bolt them to a tree as well...

One of my thoughts was to drill holes in my Ridge Runner 's base and just use some 1/4" Bolts to keep my OCB strap in place.
If you heat up a Phillips screwdriver with a torch you can melt a really nice hole in webbing.

@phatkaw ahhh I missed the pre set part! Now I follow! I was thinking about cutting slits at work with an end mill and then putting some real low pro door trim in as a grommet. I also thought about having the wife sew loops on the ocb she’s pretty handy with the sewing machine
