How thick is your stand off bracket? I made some very similar to yours out of 1/4" and they bit in to the tree well but they kept wanting to bend on me so I made a different standoff out of 1/2" and that has worked out very well.

Did u weigh them yet?

It will be 1/2" thick, those are just some mock ups out of scrap 1/8" stuff to see what it would look like. The steps will be 3/8".

I have not as those are just 1/8" scraps mock ups. My concern right now is the way they are designed at the moment they may not have enough depth and the step may be to close to the trunk of the tree. We shall see. It will be easy enough to make another set that pushes them out a bit further if need be.

What is cost me or what would they cost you...lol

You making the steps and brackets yourself? I'm looking into adding brackets along with my DoubleSteps, especially since XOP is out of stock right now. My machinist is gonna try and come up with something. Your's look solid - very similar to the Beast stick brackets. Also, what size post is that? Looks bigger than 1".

1” square tubing. Steps is 9” wide, with an upward angle to help keep foot on the step in slippery conditions.
