I've been in the background for a while on Facebook, looks to be more involved here so I joined the forum. Rumors of mid September on mantis still a possibility?

Note if you are looking for something using multiple words surround the phrase in quotes.. Then you start a topic that's been covered already like I did..lol.

Where about in Michigan? My brother lives up there around Detroit, his in-laws go up north to camp and hunt every year. Looks awesome. A lot of guys I served with are Michiganders as well, good people.

Northwest part of the state. I like it here. I just wish we had more mature bucks to chase! We are fortunate to have a lot of public land - at least in the areas I hunt.

His woman's family has a farm up there somewhere. He's not an avid hunter, but he's trying to get into it when he can. He's in the car industry, they work a lot up there.

Work can definitely get in the way of hunting. My dad's in the auto industry too. There aren't a lot of farms where I'm at. Mostly hardwoods and rivers.
