I have zero sewing skills so I had to brainstorm on the idea for a roll up pouch. I came up with a pouch that I modified to become a roll up pouch for my SRT/Rappelling rope. I used a Condor brand pouch and the final result seems to work. I'll be putting it into use tomorrow in the woods.

Can you link the pouch you used?

First I have to give credit to @cbrslider for finding and linking the pouch.

I modified the condor large utility pouch into a rope roll up pouch. @cbrslider did this first and I decided to see if I could get the pouch as close to the ones that people are drooling over.

I removed the molle fasteners on back, all the velcro and all straps. I then removed the interior pocket and sewed in back in upside down. Then added straps to close pouch and hold down rope. I used straps removed from pouch for the main closure then used 3/4 inch webbing I had and a seek buckle for easy use for the rope closure. Added a way to attach to saddle with some removed webbing and a couple of d loops I had.

I through it on the saddle to make sure the webbing was long enough and spaced properly. Quite happy for not being a diy guy.

That's awesome! Nice work. I like your version better than mine. I have another pouch coming so I'm going to try your design.
