Another saddle hunting convert

I’m using a swing. Actually switch to it mid season last year. Found it to be more comfortable. I’ve got a thread going about it “sit drag vs swing style”. Think noxninja is the resident expert on the swing though.
 
Fun question... how did you find out about saddle hunting and/or what made you want to switch?

About 99% of my hunting is on public land which requires long hikes. About a month ago I had an idea. I have a high quality harness for construction work I occasionally do so I wondered if I could rig something up to not use a stand but incorporate my harness. I searched youtube for ideas and discovered saddle hunting. It was one of those times where you think you've invented something but actually you're the last to know aboit it Haha. I had no idea this was already a big thing.

Haha, I hear ya! I never heard of this a year ago and wish I knew about it sooner. I'm not sure I'm smart enough to have come up with saddle hunting on my own but I sure am glad someone did and I get to benefit from it.
 
Well I'm glad I found legit saddle hunting because my ideas were not nearly as safe haha
