Any detailed pics of the LWCG Double Step Climbing Sticks?

Curious about leaving straps on and them stacking. Maybe with thin amsteel daisy chain?
Maybe. Seems like the problem will be the loop over the button preventing sticks from resting flush with each other (which is the best part of the design IMO). Seems better to just strip them and store separately. Any non buckle method stores easy in any ole pocket.

I'm beginning to loathe how the ATA teases me with cool products that I have to wait what seems an eternity (thank you Amazon) for:

A) confirmation of specs/use
B) product availability

1st world problems. I should probably just not watch the video drops.

I'm interested in them. I'm very sceptical of the bolt standoffs. Seems like they'd be tough on a tree (main reason I sold WE steps was because for a "public legal" method they were rough on cambium) and kinda cramped on foot space. But if they're lighter than the already light single steps, with no moving parts, and that crazy stackability...

If they pack with the ambush, I'll probably end up trying a set. Dang it.
Here you go.

What do you guys think of the tree attachment bolts? Is there a real need for the pivoting v-brackets?

I can confirm that 4 fixed points of contact work great on two step sticks. I can’t speak for longer three step sticks but I suppose it’s probably the same answer.

We have many climbs on a buddy’s welded design and it has four sharp points of contact. Besides being a bear(think claws) to pack them, they are rock solid on a tree.

I for one am not at all worried about those.

Ok cool. Still not sure if i should buy these to go with my ambush or the single step minis. I have the xop sticks and cut down heliums so gonna compare them tnite to see if i really want double step or not
