I got my pilots license (ASEL) in 2011. Flew for a while, then put my wings up. Haven't flown in a long time and I miss it.

sweet, i wanted to be a pilot, but my eyes arent sharp enough for it

I have a plane. Well, I have an RC plane....well, its a foam plane with no motors...actually, its a Styrofoam cup with popsicle stick wings that doesnt fly, but I do have a lot of respect for you fellas that choose to risk controlled crashes (landings) for sport!

I had really bad eyesight before I had Lasik done. If you haven't looked into it, it's a life changing procedure for sure.
i have, they wont do my eyes because of how my eyes are shaped, i guess my eyes are more egg shaped than round

Yep. I have commercial certificates for ASEL/AMEL. I tried to get my instructor endorsement a few years ago but life got in the way and that never happened.

Once upon a time I wanted to be a pilot. Went to school for it and was on my way. Then 2008-09 happened and in addition to the financial crash, a series of crashes (most notably the one in Buffalo, Colgan Air 3407) caused the requirements to get much higher to get into the airlines. The instructor class ahead of me stayed put, effectively shutting out my class' opportunity to build hours at the school teaching. I went on to get a business degree and now work at a casino. Flying is an absolute blast! If I could find a job with my qualifications, I would in a heartbeat.

I have one as well, but have not flown in a while as well. Keep telling myself to make time to go do it. Only takes time and money.....both of which seem to run out before I get to all of my hobbies.
