I have a fleece bag from DanO it’s nice. I also have the tethrd sys hauler and it’s been a nice bag as well.

Newbie here. Are they necessary if you carry a backpack? I plan on leaving my lineman belt attached and just daisy chain it. I was looking at the fleece pouches mentioned. But not exactly sure what people put in them unless they are going without a pack.

LB, tether, other necessaries...
I chain my LB (one side girth hitched, one side carabiner), and stuff my tether in the pouch. At height, I setup my tether, then stick my LB in the pouch. rrope is light and this simplifies rope management and keeping it out of the way.

Sometimes i run an opposite hip climbing method (like bolts).

I like having my "saddle equipment" be self-contained with a backpack containing "hunting equipment"
